去年12月4日，英国内政大臣公布了一项“五点计划”，旨在实现减少英国“有史以来最大的净移民数量”。
1月30日英国内政部确定2024年4月4日开始执行工签新政，将技术工人签证的最低薪资门槛从26,200英镑提高到38,700英镑（卫生和护理签证工作者不受此影响），对于想要拿英国工签的朋友只剩不到一个月的窗口期。
政策实施具体时间：
学生签证改革已于1月1日起开始实施，结束了大部分研究生携带家属来英国的资格； 3月11日起，限制护理工作者携带家属，并要求护理提供者在担保移民时向医疗服务质量委员会注册； 3月14日起，取消短缺职业名单上职业的20%最高工资折扣； 4月4日起，将技术工人签证的最低薪资门槛从26,200英镑提高到38,700英镑；
工签新政影响有多大？
根据数据显示，2022年英国的年度净移民人数达到了创纪录的745000人，此后一直保持在高水平，其中许多移民来自印度、尼日利亚和中国等国家，每年将减少约30万人次入境人数。
按照每周工作37.5小时计算，在其英国内政部网站列出的226种工作类型中，只有15种能够满足新的薪资门槛要求：

目前已经有在英国的中国人反馈部分英国公司已经开始撤回offer和面试通知，因为岗位的薪资不符合英国修改的移民法，无法继续提供职位。
对于在英国的留学生毕业后如果找到雇主提供担保，工作经验很少情况下拿到38,700英镑的offer机会很少。
现行政策下，对于应届生或未满26周岁的学生拿工签会有70%的折扣标准，换句话说，如果你满足了留学生申请工签的要求，岗位薪资要求可以降低至70%，如果你的毕业薪资高于这个数字，不必担心offer有被撤回的风险。
